Gorton Leaders Program Alumni Network

Since 2014 when the GLP inducted its first class of 14 fellows into the GLP Alumni Network, the Gorton Leaders Program has grown to include a growing list of over 100 GLP alumni, spanning 12 states, the District of Columbia, and 12 countries.

Internationally, GLP alumni can be found supporting family health development in Jordan, serving as commerce officers in the Dominican Republic, and working with universities in South Korea and Israel. Domestically, GLP alumni range from recent college graduates to military officers, community leaders, lawyers, and many more important positions that are emblematic of Senator Gorton’s legacy.

From the first 14 fellows in 2014 to the most recent five fellows in 2022, all GLP alumni are informed by Senator Gorton’s lessons and his values of principled leadership, rigorous analysis, bipartisanship, and public service. Through in-person and virtual events, alumni stay connected with one another, share experiences and resources, and discover new ways to honor Senator Gorton’s legacy.

GLP class of 2022

In July 2022, GLP fellows and program alumni alike celebrated Senator Gorton’s role in saving the Seattle Mariners by attending a game at T-Mobile Stadium.
