Tim Cook is a Senior Project Director.

Mr. Cook creates and pursues business opportunities for NBR, determines significant and emerging issues in the field, manages project teams, and is responsible for the success of research projects.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Cook was the Assistant Director of Political and Security Affairs, and Assistant Director of the Washington, D.C., Office at NBR. His research interests include Chinese foreign and security policy as well as issues dealing with the implications of the spread of nuclear-related materials and technologies in Asia. He has experience teaching English in Gansu and Ningxia, China, with the World Trade Centers Association and speaks Mandarin Chinese and French.

Mr. Cook holds an MA in International Studies from the University of Washington and a BA in International Relations from Carleton College.
