On October 22, 2020, NBR convened a President’s Circle dialogue. Roy Kamphausen gave a frank update on the top seven issues in Asia policy this month. The topics ranged from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s visit to Japan and the meeting between Quad foreign ministers to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Foreign Affairs Committee reports on China. This month’s special guest was Nadège Rolland, Senior Fellow for Political and Security Affairs at NBR, who provided a “China Update from a Transatlantic Perspective.”
