Islam in Japan

This 2007 study provided a baseline assessment of the presence and role of Islam in modern Japan by exploring the demography, ethnographic makeup, theological orientation, and financial and social connections to respective homelands of Muslims living in Japan. The study also explored the long-term social and national security implications of Islam in Japan, both for Japan and the United States.
