Victor Cha is a Senior Advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and is the inaugural holder of the newly created Korea Chair at CSIS. Previously, he served as Director for Asian Affairs on the White House National Security Council. He also served as U.S. Deputy Head of Delegation to the six-party talks and has acted as a senior consultant on East Asian security issues for different branches of the U.S. government. Dr. Cha is also D.S. Song Professor of Government and Asian Studies at Georgetown University.
