Tracy Timmons-Gray is Assistant Director of Online Outreach and Manager of the Japan-U.S. Discussion Forum at NBR.

As Assistant Director, Ms. Timmons-Gray develops, manages, and supports NBR projects and initiatives. Her work also includes promoting NBR’s online services, including managing the Japan-U.S. Discussion Forum, NBR’s public online forum on Japanese affairs.

Ms. Timmons-Gray started at NBR in 2002 as a program assistant for AccessAsia and has since worked on many of NBR’s projects. Before joining NBR, she worked in the cataloguing department at the Skidmore College Scribner Library and in database management at the University of Washington’s Allen Library. Her expertise is in Northeast Asian affairs, with a strong focus on Japanese political and cultural studies.

Ms. Timmons-Gray holds a BA in Asian Studies from Skidmore College and an MA in Japanese Studies from the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies.
