Maureen Johnson is the Director of NBR’s Institutional Development.

As the Director of Institutional Development, Ms. Johnson oversees all facets of group activities and initiatives, including development and implementation of NBR’s fund-raising campaigns. She also liaises with the Board of Directors and executive management team and maintains relationships with NBR’s key internal and external stakeholders.

Ms. Johnson has also managed the Pacific Energy Summit, where she oversaw logistics, program development, speaker and sponsor management as well creating and retaining sustainable, long-term relationships with collaborating institutions and stakeholders.

From 2004-2009, Ms. Johnson managed the theme development, program, speakers and all aspects of VIP involvement in the Pacific Health Summit, NBR’s signature annual global health meeting. As the Summit’s program manager, Ms. Johnson managed complex relationships and multiple logistics for world leaders in global health.

Prior to joining NBR, she worked for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for over twenty years. At the Hutchinson Center she held a variety of project management positions, including assistant to the director.

Ms. Johnson holds a BA from Seattle University.
