Eric McGlinchey is an Assistant Professor of Government and Politics at George Mason University. His areas of research include comparative politics, Central Asian regime change, political Islam, and the effects of information communication technology on state and society. His research has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, the National Council for Eurasian and East European Research, and the Social Science Research Council. Professor McGlinchey is also a member of the Program on New Approaches to Research and Security in Eurasia.
