Andrew Kaiser is a Bridge Award Fellow at NBR.

As a Bridge Award Fellow working with both the Political Security Affairs and Trade, Economics, and Energy Affairs groups, Mr. Kaiser supports a range of programs and initiatives.

Mr. Kaiser is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University–Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies, where he completed his MA in May 2012. He lived and worked in China for six years, beginning with two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Chongqing, China. Mr. Kaiser’s research interests focus on China’s social and legal development, both domestic and international, and his Master’s thesis explored the implications of college graduate unemployment for China’s social stability. Mr. Kaiser was a 2011 Boren Fellow and holds a BA in English and French from Grinnell College.
