Our alumni gathered for a game of international holiday-themed trivia! Caroline Stoebuck took home the champion’s crown, beating out a host of other alumni and current NBR staff. She generously donated her winner’s prize—an NBR Premium subscription—to fellow alum Tim White. From amusing backgrounds to a dog cuteness competition, the evening was filled with fun!

Our alumni gathered for a virtual game of Asia policy trivia. Alum Rajeev Majumdar took home the crown and an NBR Premium subscription. It was great to catch up with old friends before the Thanksgiving holiday!

During our September Happy Hour, alumni gathered for a trivia game on Chinese pop culture! Attendees joined from across the globe, including some of NBR’s current staff members in Seattle and DC. While the battle was intense, Jocelyn Roberts took the crown with her impressive knowledge of Chinese stars, both past and present. 恭喜 to Jocelyn!

Alumnus Sandip Soli was the host for this month’s event. Participants flexed their knowledge of current events in a game of trivia and hung out with old friends and colleagues.

Another fun time was had by all when NBR alumni from Beijing to Tokyo to Washington, D.C., gathered for more competitive trivia created by Karolos. The ultimate winner was highly debated as it took a tie-breaker to finally determine who took home the prized twelve-month subscription to NBR Premium!

On June 10, alumni from Australia to Denver and Beijing to DC joined us for a hilarious Happy Hour along with many adorable children and furry companions! The best of U.S. Asia policy minds competed against each other in a game of NBR-themed Bingo, ending with a tie-breaking rock-paper-scissors battle. The winner took home an NBR Premium subscription valued at $95.

On May 20, NBR held its inaugural Virtual Alumni Happy Hour! Close to 30 current and former NBR team members from Seattle to Washington, D.C., to Hong Kong gathered to share stories and compete in an NBR-themed trivia game. The winner took home a prized twelve-month subscription to NBR Premium.
