Immigration Policy and Practice in Seattle and Puget Sound

On May 26, 2017, the Slade Gorton International Policy Center held a panel discussion with Jack Chen (Microsoft) and Jorge BarĂ³n
(Northwest Immigrant Rights Project) on what the future of immigration policy looks like on a local and state-wide scale from corporate and non-profit perspectives in Washington State.

This program was planned and developed by the students of the Gorton Center Global Leaders Program, a year-long leadership development program for undergraduate, graduate and law students from the Puget Sound area to inspire the next generation of global leadership.

The roundtable discussion was moderated by former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton.
