2017 Pacific Energy Summit
The U.S. Energy Revolution and the Asia-Pacific’s Energy and Environmental Challenge
On October 10, 2017, NBR convened an elite strategy session on “The U.S. Energy Revolution and the Asia-Pacific’s Energy and Environmental Challenge.”
The exclusive, high-level event convened leaders from government, business, and research to explore innovative solutions to the dual challenges of rising energy demand and a changing climate. Participants were asked to examine changing market dynamics—burgeoning energy demand in Asia, increasing production of energy supplies from the U.S. and others, and industry-changing innovations—and identify key opportunities and needs for strengthening public policy across the region in support of strengthening the Asia-Pacific’s energy and environmental security.
