On December 8, 2025, NBR president Michael Wills will host a book talk with Joel Wit, a fellow in Asian Security Studies at the Henry L. Stimson Center, on his book Fallout: The Inside Story of America’s Failure to Disarm North Korea.
In his new book, Wit draws on more than 300 interviews—and his own astute observations as a participant in decades of roller-coaster nuclear weapons negotiations—for his fast-paced and eye-opening account of North Korean–American nuclear weapons diplomacy.
