Statespersonship from the Governor's Mansion - A New Role for the States?

The Gorton Center held its fifth annual Statespersonship series luncheon in conjunction with the William D. Ruckelshaus Center on Monday, January 16, 2018, in downtown Seattle.

“Statespersonship from the Governor’s Mansion: A New Role for the States?” featured a bipartisan panel of former Washington governors to discuss their views and personal experiences in governing the state, and how the balance of power and leadership between state governments and the federal government may be changing.

Participating in the panel were former Washington State governors Daniel Evans, Christine Gregoire, and Gary Locke.
