This three-episode Asia Insight podcast miniseries explores China’s digital ambitions and the global strategy it’s pursuing to realize these ambitions. The series features all six authors of the NBR report China’s Digital Ambitions: A Global Strategy to Supplant the Liberal Order. This report examines China’s strategic approach to the digital revolution, assesses the implications for the international order, and provides a roadmap for a multilateral response by the United States and its allies and partners.

In the first episode, NBR nonresident fellow Emily de La Bruyère, the project’s principal investigator, joins for a discussion of the strategic thinking driving China’s global digital strategy. The second episode takes a deeper dive into how China is executing this strategy, and the final episode explores the security implications and potential policy responses.
