Roundtable with Ambassador Bi-khim Hsiao

On November 7, 2023, the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) Chairman’s Council held a roundtable discussion with Ambassador Bi-khim Hsiao, Taiwan’s Representative to the United States. NBR President Roy Kamphausen moderated a discussion with Ambassador Hsiao that covered topics including the accomplishments of Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen’s eight years in office; the resilience of Taiwan’s society, economy, and government against PRC pressure; and the state of the Taiwan-U.S. bilateral relationship.
