Lisa Weiss
Lisa Weiss is a Project Director at NBR.

As a Project Director, Ms. Weiss creates and pursues business opportunities for NBR, determines significant/emerging issues in the field, manages project teams, and is responsible for the success of research projects.

Prior to joining NBR, she worked with the Eurasia Group in New York where she managed a Task Force on Chinese Political Risk and contributed to its final report. Lisa has worked with the United Nations, with the Japan Center for International Exchange, and as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives. She has lived in Japan and China and has traveled throughout Asia. Lisa received her M.A. in International Security Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

Ms. Weiss has broad expertise in traditional and non-traditional security issues and regional expertise in Japan, China, and Southeast Asia. At NBR she covers energy and environmental issues in Asia, including energy security and geopolitics, energy efficiency and climate.
