Mahin Karim

Mahin Karim is a Senior Project Director at NBR.

As a Senior Project Director, Ms. Karim creates and pursues business opportunities for NBR, determines significant/emerging issues in the field, manages project teams, and is responsible for the success of research projects.

Ms. Karim holds an M.A. (2004) in International Studies, with a concentration in Central Asian studies, from the Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington; and a B.A. (1996) in International Relations and Modern Languages, with a minor in Asian Studies, from Beloit College, Wisconsin.

Ms. Karim specializes in the politics and cultures of Muslim societies in Asia; her areas of interest include transnational terrorism and security; political Islam; and the international relations of South, Southwest, and Central Asia. She has lived and traveled extensively across Asia.
