Michael T. Jones

Michael Jones is a Project Manager at NBR.

As a Project Manager, Mr. Jones develops, manages, and supports NBR projects and initiatives.

Mr. Jones has a B.A. in Chinese language and literature (with a minor in China Studies) from the University of Washington. Previously, he studied Chinese language and history at Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, China. He interned at both the World Affairs Council and the Washington State China Relations Council in Seattle. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Jones was partner of Small World Language Exchange, a small language and culture exchange program.

His research interests include: energy and environmental security, development economics, international trade and investment, and Asia’s relations with Africa and the Middle East.
