Brigitte M. Allen

Brigitte M. Allen is Senior Vice President at NBR.

Brigitte Allen joined NBR in 1994. In her current position she maintains and expands NBR’s relationships with American corporations and foundations, and coordinates fundraising activities for the NBR endowment, NBR programs, and projects. Additionally, Ms. Allen serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors and assists the President and Founding President with board relations and development efforts. Ms. Allen was formerly Director of Corporate Relations and Development at NBR.

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Ms. Allen is fluent in English, French, German, and Spanish, as well as Dutch. She holds a B.A. in foreign languages and an M.S. in International Relations. She received the Outstanding Civilian Service Award from the U.S. Air Force and was awarded distinguished honors for her M.A. thesis on Dutch policy in Indonesia following World War II.
