Mark A. Schulz

Mark A. Schulz has served on NBR's Board of Directors since 2004. He is group Vice President, Ford Asia Pacific, a position he assumed on October 1, 2003. He formerly was president Asia Pacific and Ford South America Operations. Previously, Mr. Schulz, 51, had been president, Ford Asia Pacific, since January 1, 2002.

Prior to these appointments, Mr. Schulz had been general manager of Ford Otosan in Turkey, a position to which he was appointed in February 1997.

Mr. Schulz joined Ford in 1976 and held several product engineering and design positions. He was appointed as the Director of Product Development, Ford Japan, in 1987. In 1990, he returned to North America where he assumed various roles including director of Corporate Strategy office in 1990, plant manager in 1993 and vehicle line director of Compact Trucks in 1994 until joining Ford Otosan in 1997.

Mr. Schulz holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University and masters degrees from the University of Detroit (Economics), the University of Michigan (Engineering), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Industrial Management), where he was a Sloan Fellow.
