Mary E. Minnick

Mary Minnick has served on NBR's Board of Directors since 2002. A 22-year veteran of the Coca-Cola Company, Ms. Minnick is Executive Vice President and President of Marketing, Strategy and Innovation. In this role, Ms. Minnick leads three critical and integrated corporate functions:

From a career that started in sales with Coca-Cola USA, Ms. Minnick gained experience in sales, marketing and new products, eventually rising to operating roles and senior management ranks. Ms. Minnick spent eight years living and working in Asia, including serving as president and COO of Coca-Cola Asia, where she oversaw operations in over 40 countries, drove supply chain efficiencies and expanded the Company’s portfolio in a Group that accounts for approximately one-third of the Company’s operating income, refreshes over half the world’s population and provides total system employment to over 100,000 people. Before that, Ms. Minnick served as president of Coca-Cola Japan—perhaps the Company’s most vibrant market for the integration of innovation, marketing, and strategic opportunities—and as president of the South Pacific division, based in Australia.

During her 22-year career at the Company, Ms. Minnick has a proven track record of developing good ideas and, most importantly, bringing those ideas through the system, using new manufacturing technologies and successfully commercializing them into new products. Ms. Minnick was appointed to her current role in May 2005 and is based in Atlanta.

Ms. Minnick holds a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University, and serves on the Dean’s Council of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and the Board of Visitors of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
