Development is under way on health and security applications that leverage a new generation geospatial database platform built on Microsoft SQL Server and Virtual Earth technologies. The Strategic Asia online database contains an unparalleled selection of strategic indicators for 37 countries in the Asia-Pacific region from 1990 through 2007.

Key data is provided on the economy, finance, trade and investment, communications, armed forces, weapons of mass destruction, and politics and international relations.

AccessAsia

AccessAsia is a free public online resource that tracks the top specialists in the field of contemporary Asian affairs. NBR launched the project to better connect those who have the expertise on Asia with those are seeking it, such as people in government, business, media, and academia.

Over 3,000 Asian studies specialists from around the world participate in AcessAsia, including experts on security, politics, economics, foreign relations, energy, and health issues across all of Asia.
